MESSAGE TO MEMBERS OF THE SDF IN THE LITTORAL, WEST, SOUTH WEST AND CENTRE/SOUTH PROVINCES

Dear Comrades,

There comes a time in the life of an institution when it is necessary to take special measures, and sometimes painful ones, to ensure the very survival of the institution.

The SDF has proved that it is a dynamic political institution.

Our country is going through extremely difficult times caused by a CPDM regime made up of unpatriotic underachievers; this situation not only endangers the life of each and everyone of us but also affects and threatens the very existence of our Party.

Already the laxism, indiscipline and divisive tendencies displayed by some of us are evident signs that the repeated assaults of our ennemies are beginning to tell on us.

It is therefore, necessary to take forceful measures, in conformity with our Party Constitution to save the nature and the dynamism of our Party, because the SDF belongs to us, its members but more importantly, it is the property of all Cameroonians who have now been enslaved; it is their only hope and weapon for the struggle for change.

Because of this, the National Executive Committee has decided to reorganise certain Party organs that have not been functioning satisfactorily, amongst which are the Provincial Executive Committees of your Provinces (Littoral, West, South West) and to acknowledge the results of the partial elections carried out during the Provincial Conference of the Centre and South.

This reorganisation is intended to enable those who really have the confidence of the grassroots to takeover the management of the Party in order to revitalise it and render it capable of realising our Plan of Action and sustaining the hope of the Cameroonian people.

True enough, to head our Party organs, we need intelligent men and women with political awareness but moreso, we need men and women of action. The fate of our Party hangs on them. So does the fate of our people.

This is to say that all SDF members must mobilize to ensure the success of this reorganisation exercise and to defend their ideal, their Party and their Fatherland against the enemies of Cameroon.

This is also to say that those who until now had not done it, should forget their personal interest, the interest of their clan, their tribe or their corporation and get involved in the merciless struggle which we are conducting against those who want to keep us in perpetual misery and slavery.

Only our will, our commitment in the SDF and our unflinching patriotism can make them fail and so save Cameroon from recolonisation.

Time has come to let them know that the martyres of the SDF did not die for nothing and that your daily sacrifices for over 4 years now have not been in vain.

Our cause is just.
I exhort you to hold fast for victory is sure.
God bless you .
