DECLARATION OF FAITH

1. The respect of the people as the source of power; the promotion of the well-being of the people and of society
2. Service to the entire public without any discrimination whatsoever, based on race, ethnic origin, linguistic distinction, religion, sex, etc...
3. A participatory and consultative approach to decision-making; respect for human rights; rule of law and democratic practices
4. Transparency and accountibility in the discharge of responsibilities
5. War against evils that plague public life in Cameroon, including graft, stealing, embezzlement, mismanagement, corruption, nepotism, tribalism, ethnocentrism, etc...
6. People capable of identifying and executing development projects related to the needs of the area
7. The triumph of the people's power
8. Selfless, efficient councillors capable of transforming the people's power into goods and services
9. A team that will constantly maintain existing roads and open up new farm-to-market roads so that free circulation is possible all year round
10. A team that will promote housing technology based on cheap local material
11. A team that will provide adequate sporting facilities and promote competitive sporting activities in the area
12. A team that will promote the delivery of health services through well built and equipped primary health care structures
13. A team that will galvanize the potential of the various village/chiefdom development associations by involving them in the planning and execution of projects and making available to them at subsidized rates, experts (surveyors, architects, etc...) and equipement (caterpillars, graders, tippers, etc...) for their various development projects
14. A Party that seeks to:
    • promote and protect chieftaincy institution by bannishing their classification;
    • free traditional authorities from "forced" partisan politics in order to allow them to attend to the development of the traditional court system and the development and improvement of our cultural heritage and traditions.
15. A team that will provide clean water to all in rural areas from drilled and protected wells from which water is mechanically pumped.
16. A team that will promote sanitation by the introduction of trained sanitary inspectors
17. A team that will promote Common Initiative Groups in the management of areas such as the provision of quality education (PTA's), the production, processing and sale of farm produce; the provision of cheap electricity, clean water, health delivery systems; the construction of community roads; the provision of community telephones, etc., all in collaboration with village/chiefdom development association.
18. A party that will ensure that communities benefit from projects in their communities with respect to the award of contracts, training and employment; a party that will ensure the training community development officiers, who at best originate from their village of origin.
19. A party that will ensure:
    • that company that exploit local ressources pay company and environment taxes to the local council in which they exploit the resources;
    • that the people from the local council benefit from the award of contracts, training, employment from the company;
    • that the companies participate in social projects like road construction, the provision of clean water, electricity, telephone services and the purchase and/or maintenance of council equipment.
