Bamenda Convention: Littoral SDF Vies For 1st Vice National Chairman

The Littoral Provincial Chairman of the Social Democratic Front, SDF, party, Jean-Michel Nitcheu, has said the Province will be gunning for the post of 1st Vice National Chairman during the party's elective convention slated for May 26 in Bamenda.
SDF Littoral will as well try to maintain the post of National Treasurer. The Province will put up candidates for a number of other posts, which will include the Chairperson of the External Relations Committee in the National Executive Committee, NEC.
In a chat with The Post, May 9, Nitcheu said the focus of the Littoral Provincial conference scheduled to hold in Douala on Saturday, May 13, would be on preparations for the Bamenda Convention. He said they will organise primaries to select candidates that will run for various posts at the convention.
The incumbent National Treasurer, Barrister Augustine Mbami, thus remains the lone candidate for Littoral SDF for that post. The candidate for the post 1st Vice National Chairperson will be chosen at the primaries. There are presently two aspirants, Dr. Emmanuel Sango Djoumbi and Joseph Meache.
